	Know all men by these presents that I  ANDREW LOCKHART principal 
and JAMES B. PATRICK J., CHARLES LOCKHART _ securities are held and firmly 
bound unto Edmund Bellinger Chief Justice or his Successors in office  in 
the ___ Sum of Ten Thousand Dollars- good and lawful money of this Republic,
to the payment of which  We bind ourselves our heirs Executors 
Administrators___ firmly by these presents   The Condition of the above 
obligation as such that the said  ANDREW LOCKHART has been appointed 
Administrator of the V____   Successor of  BYRD B. LOCKHART, decd. Now ___ 
of the said ANDREW LOCKHART shall __ and truly do and perform in all things 
appertaining to said administration in accordance with the law thus  this 
obligation to be null and void. Otherwise to hand and remain in full power 
and virtue in Law. Given under  Our Hands and seals this 26th day of April---
A.D.  1840

	You do solemnly Swear as that the deceased died without any lawful 
will as far as you know and believe; and that you will and truly are all 
and singular- the successors of the said decd. And pettion a true inventory. 
Thereof so far as the ___ may __ to your knowledge. And A___ account of 
sales?? And of your administration as required by Law so help you God. This 
26th day of  April A.D. 1840
