M. Logan For the second time within twenty-four hours the Death Angel has visited this county, both times removing a substantial and highly esteemed citizen. The second one to answer the final summons was Mr. F. M. Logan, who died at 4 a.m. this morning at his home at Slayden. Mr. Logan was but 51 years, 2 months and 20 days of age. While he had been in bad health for the past six months his condition was so favorable that his attending physician was not called to see him yesterday, and he entertained friends up to about nine o'clock in the evening, however death claimed him very unexpectedly at the above named hour. Mr. Logan leaves a wife and four children, three sons and one daughter, to mourn his loss, besides a brother, Mr. Lee Logan, and a sister residing at Post City. Other relatives also survive him. Mr. Logan was for many years a resident of the Denton Creek section, moving to a farm near Slayden about two years ago. He was a native of this county and was the son of the late Mr. Tom Logan, thus being a member of one of the old substantial families of the county. The funeral has been set for tomorrow noon, and interment will be made at 4 o'clock in the Denton Creek Cemetery, beside the remains of other members of the family. The Inquirer extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved family and other relatives. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/txfiles/ File size: 1.9 Kb
