Died at Dreyer - Mr. Robert I Moore was born in Texas on Nov. 26, 1866; 
married Miss Ella Thurmond of Dyersburg, Tenn. April 1, 1888; and died April 
21, 1909.  He was 43 years, 4 months, 25 days old and left an aged mother, a 
wife and nine children, and a host of friends to mourn his loss.

Brother Moore had lived a Christian life since he converted and joined the 
Baptist Church 12 years age and he told me a short time before his death that 
he was not afraid to die, but regretted that he hadn't been as faithful in the 
service of our Lord as he might have been.

The Lord comfort the bereaved and may they realize that "Blesssed are the dead

Additional Comments:
Robert I. Moore was the son of Andrew J. and Melissa Boothe Moore. His wife, 
Ella, was the daughter of Erasmus S. and Alice Nichols Thurmond of Dyersburg, 
Tenn.  The children of Robert and Ella were 1)William Seals (1889-1947; 2)Ruth 
(1891-1936); 3)Brooksie, aka "Dink" (1893-1936); 4)Rep (1895-1974); 5)Kathryn, 
aka "Kate" (1897-1989); 6)Bess (1899-1972); 7)Alice, aka "Boots" (1901-1964); 
8)Robert, Jr., aka "Bob" (1905-1944); and 9)Lucy (1907-1993).

Robert, his wife Ella, and most of their nine children are buried at the 
cemetery in Hochheim, DeWitt Co., Texas.
