She had with her 11 of her 14 children, one of whom was my Great Grandfather, Joshua Pritchett, who was 20 years old at the time. We were uncertain he had come over with the wagon train, but the documented evidence below verified that he had indeed come with the wagon train. The information from the microfilm was labeled "Grayson County Voter Registration 1867-1869" on the outside of the box. The individual who followed J. D. in registration was his brother-in-law, George Montgomery, who was married to Joshua's sister Martha. -------------------------------------------- July 30, 1867: Grayson County Voter Registration 1867-1869 Date of Record: July 30, 1867(taken from Microfilm at the Dallas Library) "Voter registrant # 616 Name: J. D. Pritchett Precinct # 7. Time in Residence in State: 9 years Time in Residence in County: 9 years Time in Residence in Precinct: 9 years" -------------------------------------------- (This clarifies that Joshua Pritchett was in Grayson County, Texas, in the year of 1858 and resided there until he went into Co C. 9th Regiment Texas Infantry in October 1861.) This was perhaps the most important find several years ago when I was trying to join the Daughters of the Confederacy. Jan Pritchett-Litvin
