Dallas (TX) Morning News  8/1/1911
PROVINE - Sherman, Tex., July 28 - Word has been received here of the death of 
Will C. Provine at Damsite last night after a long and wearing illness. The 
burial will be at Quanah. The deceased was reared at Whitesboro, in this 
county, and spent several years in Sherman prior to going to Damsite to assume 
the management of the interests of Col. Cecil A. Lyon at that place. He is a 
member of the Woodmen of the World Lodge No. 9 of this city. He is survived by 
his widow and five children.
