My father attended a one-room school house in Ida, Texas in first and second
grades, 1941-43.  He was the littlest boy on the far right, next to the teacher.
His name was Leslie Dodson. The teacher's name was Mrs. Nelson.  After that, the
school closed and the students went to Tom Bean.  I wondered if this photo would
be of use to you.  I've enjoyed reading about the small schools in Grayson
County.
