Tenery, R. F. Holland & E. G. Weddington Henry Jonte respectfully showed to the Court that according to the best of his knowledge and belief Defendant George B. Tenery is justly indebted to him in the sum of $5,000 as damages for the seduction of his daughter, Ann H. Jonte age 17 years, and that George B. Tenery moved out of Giles County and concealed himself so that the ordinary process of law could not be served and that he fraudulently disposed of his property. He transferred his property to his brothers-in-law, R. F. Holland and E. G. Weddington. Henry Jonte suing for the damages for the seduction of his daughter, Ann H. Jonte in the summer and fall of 1885. George B. Tenry and Annie H. Jonte were married December 27, 1886, and recorded in Giles County Marriage Book 4 - 1886, page 34. Married by W. F. Alexander, Justice of the Peace.
