Deeds found in the county courthouses, particularly where one person conveys land, tenements, or heredi- taments to another often contain much genealogical information. ************************************************ Deed dated December 29, 1919, Recorded in Vol. 39, page 408, Gregg Co., TX E. C. & P. S. Durham to Mrs. T. E. Durham State of Texas County of Gregg Whereas...on 17th day of Aug. 1911, J. T. Culver and wife conveyed to T. E. Durham and S. J. Blocher all of Gregg Co., TX an undivided 1/2 interest in all minerals in four tracts of land on the A. R. Johnson HR Survey near Longview, in Gregg Co., Texas and deed being duly recorded in Gregg Co. Deed records, Volume "Y", page 199 to which reference is here made for a more particular description of said land, and Whereas, since said conveyance the said T. E. Durham, has died and left surviving him three children and his wife, Now therefore, we, E. C. Durham of Angelina Co. TX and P. S. Durham of Harris Co., TX, sons of T. E. Durham and his surviving wife, for and in consideration of $1,00 to us in hand paid by our mother, Mrs. T. E. Durham, of Gregg Co, TX, do hereby convey and grant unto her all of each of our undivided interest in said minerals aforesaid.... 29th day of December 1919. Signed: E. C. Durham and P. S.
