Funeral Services for Mrs. W. H. Swann, 87, who died Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. I. M. Palmer, 408 East College St., will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her daughter's home with Rev. Lewis W. Nichols, pastor of Kelly Memorial Church officiating, assisted by Rev. George D. Dickinson, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Marshall besides the bodies of her husband and two sons, who preceded her in death some years ago. Mrs. Swann's daughter, Mrs. J. F. Whatley of Griffin, Ga will Saturday morning to attend the funeral. A son, L. J. Swann, of Los Angeles, Calif., will be unable to attend on account of illness of a member of the family. Besides her son and two daughters, Mrs. Swann is survived by six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She moved to Longview eight years ago to make her home with her daughter, and had endeared herself to many friends during her residence here. She was a consistent Christian and a member of the Methodist Church. A number of friends from Longview will attend the burial services in Marshall.
