Moreman Nov. 21, 1877 May 24, 1950 "At Rest" Additional Comments: John E. Moreman was the son of Marion Moreman and Dora J. (Kennedy) Moreman. He was born in Collin, Collin County, Texas. He had 10 siblings, Joyce, Elma, Myrtle, Fred, Lillie, Addie May, Charlie, Miles, Elbert L. and Harvey. He is buried in Strip Cemetery, which is a very old cemetery (1800's) and is still active today. There are approximately 300 graves, most of which are marked. The cemetery is out in the middle of cotton fields, but has many evergreen trees and is very a well kept cemetery. There is no evidence of vandalism or mistreatment of graves or tombstones in this cemetery. One must travel country dirt roads to reach this cemetery, however, even though it is out in the middle of "nowhere", it is not locked, but you must open a gate to go in.
