Beaumont Enterprize, June 25, 2002
John H. Lemons, Sr., 93, died on June 24, 2002 in Christus St. Elizabeth 
Hospital after a brief illness. 

He was a fifty year resident of Silsbee, Texas and until retirement, was 
employed in construction at DuPont Chemical Plant in Beaumont, Texas. Before 
coming to Silsbee, Mr. Lemons lived in Evadale and was employed by Temple 
Lumber Company. 

He was born in Brookeland, Texas and was the youngest of eight siblings. His 
wife, Edna Mae Perry and a daughter, Helen Ruth Dobbs, preceded him in death. 
He is survived by a daughter, Ted LaRue Yianitsas, of Crystal Beach, Texas; a 
son, John H. Lemons, Jr. of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren and eighteen 
great grandchildren. 

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2002 
at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. 
Friends are invited to donate to their favorite charities in lieu of flowers.
