Obituary as it appeared in the Silsbee Bee:

Edna Mae Lemons, 79 of Silsbee died September 12 at Silsbee Doctors Hospital. 
  
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. September 14 at Farmer Funeral Home in 
Silsbee with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.

A native of Merryville, La, she lived in Silsbee for 40 years.

Survivors include her husband, John H. Lemons, Sr of Silsbee; son John H. 
Lemons, Jr of Houston; daughters Ted Larue Yianitsas of Silsbee and Helen Ruth 
Dobbs of Port Arthur; sisters Bessie Wright and Patsy Collier, both of Silsbee 
and Dora Goldie Burleigh of Beaumont; 9 grandchildren and 13 great 
grandchildren.
