The Houston Chronicle, June 21, 1970
Mr. Oscar Berry, 73, 1124 Fugate, passed away Saturday in a local hospital. 
Member of the Radio Revival Church. Native of Conroe. Resident of Houston 65 
years. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Oscar Berry; daughters, Mrs. Levelle Pickering; 
sons, Garvin Berry, Marvin L. Berry, Rev. Kenneth F. Berry, brothers, Louis 
Berry, L.T. Berry, Delton Berry, all of Houston; 13 grandchildren. Funeral 
services 2 p.m. Monday Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Chapel. Rev. Kenneth F. 
Berry officiating. Interment Forest Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be 
nephews. Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Ave. 928-5141.

Additional Comments:
Oscar was the son of Louis BERRY & Martha ELKINS. He was married to Martha 
Floy ROWELL.
