(Roy) Dupree, 76, who began work for the city 30 years ago Sunday, died early Monday in a Houston hospital. Dupree, of 1005 Louise, retired six years ago from the city's custodial staff. He moved to Houston in 1924 from Magnolia. He was a member of the Fulbright Methodist Church. He had been a member of Woodmen of the World for more than 50 years. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Heights Funeral Home Chapel, 1317 Heights Blvd., with burial at Magnolia. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Era Josephine Dupree; two sons, Charles L. Dupree, Jr., and E. F. (Frenchy) Dupree, both of Houston; sister, Mrs. J___ Fritch of Baytown, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
