Mrs. Era Jo DuPree, 76, 1001 Louise, passed away Thursday. Member Heights 
Christian Church. Survivors: Sons, Charles DuPree, Magnolia, Era Fay DuPree, 
Morgan City, La.; sisters, Mrs. May Pierce, Mrs. Alberta Adams, Mrs. Martha 
Berry, all of Houston, Mrs. Gladys Campbell, Tomball, Mrs. Emma Hamilton, 
Houston, Mrs. Vera Hutton, Bentonville, Ark.; brother, Cliva Rowell, 
Wimberley; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Services 12 noon 
Monday, Heights Chapel, Rev. Alan Abraham and Rev. Kenneth Berry officiating. 
Graveside services 2:30 p.m., Magnolia Cemetery. Heights Funeral Home, 1317 
Heights Blvd., 862-8844.

Era Jo was the daughter of Jacob Everett "JE" ROWELL and Martha J. "Mattie" 
STATON.
