He was a resident of Houston 20 years and was a school patrolman with the Houston police force for four years. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. J.W. Durham; two daughters, Mrs. R.J. Brady and Mrs. Winnie Gene Floyd; three brothers, Harlo Durham of Huntsville; Ben Durham of Los Angeles, Cal., and Willie Durham of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Wells, Mrs. Fannie Palmer and Miss Gordon Durham, all of Houston, and four grandchildren. Funeral services at 4 p.m. Thursday (December 20, 1945) at the Fogle-West Chapel, with Rev. W.M. Harrell of the Woodland Baptist Church and Rev. R.W. McCann of Genoa Baptist Church officiating.
