Tucson (AZ) Daily Citizen  2 March 1953
Funeral services were held this afternoon for George Kidd III, 4914 Calle 
Jabali, who died Saturday in St. Mary's hospital after a long illness.

Born in Houston, Tex., Sept. 15, 1907, he had lived in Texas until coming to 
Tucson two years ago. During World War II he served for three years in the U. 
S. navy.

He is survived by his wife, Bennette Platte Kidd; son, George; his mother, 
Mrs. Nancy Thompson Kidd of Tucson; and a sister, Mrs. Milo Perkins of 
Washington, D.C.

Services were held at the Arizona Mortuary chapel with Rev. Nelson Parke, 
assistant rector of St. Philip's-in-the-Hills Episcopal church, officiating.
