The Houston Chronicle, June 6, 1976
Mrs. Lida Mae May, 67, of Houston, passed away Friday, June 4, 1976 in a local 
hospital. Native and former resident of Cleburne, Texas. Houston resident for 
past 40 years. Member Central Church of Christ and Woman's City Club. Survived 
by: daughter, Mrs. Michelle Smith of Irving, Texas and numerous cousins. 
Funeral service 12 noon Monday, Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Chapel with Mr. 
Dan Anders officiating. Interment in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Forest 
Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Ave., 928-5141.


Additional Comments:
Lida was the daughter of Walter Wesley WEST & Minnie deLida MENEFEE. She 
married Albert Michael MAY on 29 Sep 1934 and they had one daughter, Michelle.
