Houston Chronicle
Helen Peterson Mikeska of Friendswood, Texas passed away December 10, 1999 at 
the age of 84.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband George Mikeska 
and parents William and Mary Copeland Peterson.  She is survived by her 
daughter Carol Hooper Childs and her son-in-law Jimmy Childs and two 
grandchildren: Charles William and Susan Rozycki.  She is also survived by 
another daughter Elizabeth Nobles of Houston; a brother, Billy Gene Peterson; 
and Dorothy Horn, a sister, of Waco, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, December 13, 1999 at 
Jeter Memorial Funeral Home in Friendswood, Texas.  The Funeral Service will 
be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 14, 1999 at Jeter Memorial Funeral 
Chapel.  Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
