Noble died at his residence, on the Montgomery road. His funeral will take place tomorrow (Monday) , under the auspices of Holland Masonic lodge, of which he was a member. He was also a member in good standing of Washington Chapter and Ruthven Commandery, A.F. and A.M. About three years ago Mr. Noble’s health commenced to fail, and at that time he lay at the point of death. When he rallied he failed to recover the magnificent strength that he possessed before the attack, and this morning succumbed to the disease. He was in his 38th year, was born in Houston and at one time was the leading Democratic political manager in the county of Harris. For three terms he filled the position of sheriff, spending six years in office, being succeeded by his first deputy, John J. Fant, who now holds the office with such fine executive ability. The death of Con. Noble will be lamented by all classes of citizens, and his family will receive the heartfelt condolence of all who knew him personally.
