Mrs. Mary F. Pierce, 74, of 616 West 17th St., passed away Monday. Survivors: 
Husband Mr. Clayton Pierce, Houston; daughters, Mrs. Chloe Behne of Brenham, 
Mrs. Jerry Weaver of Caldwell; son, Hiram C. Pierce, Jr., of Palo Alto, 
California; sisters, Mrs. Emma Hamilton, Mrs. Martha Berry, Mrs. Alberta 
Adams, all of Houston, Mrs. Gladys Campbell, Tomball; brother, Cliva A. Rowell 
of Wimberly, Texas; 8 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter. Services 1:30 
p.m. Wednesday, _____ Chapel with Rev. Gerald Blackburn and Rev. Kenneth Berry 
officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights 
Blvd., 862-8844.

Mary was the daughter of Jacob Everett "JE" ROWELL and Martha J. "Mattie" 
STATON.
