POWELL--Mrs. Theresa Powell, 86, of 3424 Purdue, died 11 p.m. Sunday, November
7, 1971. Widow of the late George W. Powell Sr. Member of St. John The Divine
Episcopal Church, P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Survivors: Sons, Rev. George Wilson Powell Jr. of Jasper, Frederick K. Powell,
Houston; four grandchildren.

Body will lie in state at the George H. Lewis & Sons, McGowen Ave. Chapel,
until 3 p.m. Tuesday when it will taken to Waco for services at 11:30 a.m.,
Thursday (November 11, 1917), St. Paul's Episcopal, Waco with burial in Rose
Mound Cemetery under the direction of the Wilkerson and Hatch Funeral Home,
Waco.
