All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** Mrs. Anna Tamborello, aged 60 years, died Tuesday (March 17, 1910) morning at 6:15 o'clock at her home at 209 Sampson street. The deceased is survived by five children: four sons, N.J., John, J.A., and Louis J. Tamborello; and one daughter, Mrs. M.J. Burrisk. All the children are residents of this city. Two sisters, Mrs. Rosina Claviano of Houston and Mrs. Catherine [no surname given] of New Orleans, also survive. Mrs. Tamborello was an old resident of Houston, having resided here for more than 40 years. She was preceded in death by her late husband something over one year ago. The funeral will be conducted from the residence to the Blessed Sacrament church at 3:30 o'clock Wednesday (May 18, 1910) afternoon, with Father Schmitzer officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. The following were selected to act as pallbearers: J.N. Mustachia, C.Radosti, A. Costa, D. Guzzardo, M. Lamana and G. Fasullo.
