Mrs. Jessie B. Vanderburg, 78, entered into rest, Saturday. Survivors: 
daughters, Mrs. A. R. (Bernice) James and Mrs. Claude (Margie) Whelchel; sons, 
John R. Vanderburg, Louis R. Vanderburg, all of Houston, Luther L. Vanderburg 
of Hermiston, Ore.; sister, Mrs. Ollie Hammonds of Carthage; brothers, Andrew 
Plunket of San Antonio and Obit Plunket of Carthage; 18 grandchildren and 
three great-grandchildren. Services 1:00 p.m. Monday, Chapel of the Garden, 
Rev. Leroy Bowley of Timpson, Texas, offciating. Burial, Houston National 
Cemetery. Pat H. Foley & Co., Chapel of the Garden, 1200 W. 34th St., 
Northwest, 869-6261.

Additional Comments:
Jessie was the daughter of John Addison PLUNKETT & Lillian Aldorah CHESHIRE. 
She married Luther Lafayette VANDERBURG.
