  (English translation:     Here rests in God the Pastor
  (Engraved below the name and dates is)         Leben wir so 
                                        	 leben den Herrn
                                       		 sterben wir so 
                                       		 sterben wir den
                                       		 Herrn Darum wir 
                                       		 leben oder sterben
                                       		 so sind wir des herrn
                                       		        ---------
                                                 Ruhe sanftin deiner 
                       		                 Gruft bis Dich Jesus
                                                 weider Ruft
  (English translation:        		 We live to live for the Lord
                                         We did to die for the Lord
                                       	 Whether we alive or dead
                                         We belong to the Lord.
                                                 ---------
                                       	 Rest gently in your grave
                                         until Jesus calls.)
