  (English translation:                  Here rests in peace)
  (Engraved below the name and dates is)  
                                          Shlummere sanft mein treuer
                                          gatte all zü foüh hast dü mich
                                          verlassen. Im stillen gedenk ich
                                          dein. Bis einst wir werden droben
                                          wieder vereint.
  (English translation:           Sleep gently, my dear husband 
                                  Far too soon did you leave me.
                                  In quiet moments I think of you
                                  Finally we will be united in Heaven.)
