[The following is a transcript of four loose pages that are believed to have 
been photocopied from a bible of James Nelson Naudain and Ellen Grose.  The 
location of the bible is unknown.  The photocopy was in the papers of Kellie 
Loop of Rice, Texas, who died in 1993.  Roger Bartlett added bracketed 
matter.]

Marriages

Jas. N. Naudain & Elen his wife was married on the 24th day of March 1825

Our son James & Christian [Christianna] Loop was married the 6th of April A.D. 
1851

Our daughter Catharine and Wm. W. Loop was married the 22d of May A.D. 1853

Our daughter Elen Rebeca and John Dalton was married the 25th of January A.D. 
1857

Our daughter Mary A. Naudain & Marida Etheridge was married the 13th of 
February A.D. 1862

Our son John W. Naudain & Christian [Christianna] Naudain was married 
September the 10th 1870

Jas. N. Naudain & Henretta [middle initial unclear, may be V] Bales was 
married on the 11th of February A.D. 1873 in Robison [probably Robertson] Co. 
Texas

Births

Jas. N. Naudain the son of John Naudain was born October the 29th A.D. 1804

Elen Naudain the wife of Jas. N. Naudain & the daughter of Phillip Grose was 
born the [date unclear, may be 2nd] of May A.D. 1809 both in Delaware

Our son Jas. A. Naudain was born September 13th 1829

Our daughter Elen was born 23d of January 1832 - dide the same night

Our daughter Catharine was born September the 3d A.D. 1833

Our daughter Rebcca was born June the 29th of A.D. 183- [last digit unclear]

Our son John W. was born July the 24th A.D. 1839

Our daughter Ann was born July 31st 1842

Our daughter Mary was born July 31st 184- [last digit unclear but should be 
1842]

Ann & Mary was twins

Our daughter Elizabeth was born February [date unclear] A.D. 1845

Deaths

Elen Naudain the wife of Jas. N. Naudain depated this life July 1th [unclear; 
there may be a second digit] A.D. 1872.  Funeral preached by the Rev. Steven 
Lewis.  Her age at her death was 63 years 1 month and 29 days old

Jas. N. Naudain departed this life November the 23th A.D. 1880.  His age was 
76 years and 25 days old.  Funeral preached also by the Rev. Steven Lewis

Elias Naudain the brother of Jas. N. Naudain departed this life August the 
29th 1855 age 53 years 10 months and 2 days old

Jas. A. Naudain the son of Jas. N. Naudain departed this life April the 28 
A.D. 1870 age was 41 years 2 months and 15 days old.  Discourse by Rev. Isaac 
Scoggins

Mary A. Etheridge daughter of Jas. N. Naudain departed this life May the 4th 
1887 age 45 years

Elizabeth A. Starr the daughter of Jas. N. Naudain departed this life March 
the 5th 1889 age 44 years
