Thrasher Bible

Copied and submitted by Estelle Corder. Originally published in 
East Texas Family Records, Volume Four Number Two, Summer 1980 on 
page 42. At that time the Bible was owned by Lena Doughty, Poynor, 
Texas, Henderson County. The Bible is handbound, in very poor
condition and illegible in places.

Alfred Thrasher lived in Tippah County, Miss., in 1850, and in 
Hopkins County, Texas in 1880.

Vinyard Thrasher lived in Hopkins County, Texas in 1880.
R. C. Thrasher and Tillman Thrasher lived in Tishomingo County, 
Miss. In 1840.

Thomas Thrasher lived in Tippah County, Miss. In 1850.

Jesse P. Thrasher lived in Tippah County, Miss. In 1860 and 1870. 
The widow of Jesse Thrasher, Rebecca and his children were living 
in Henderson County, Texas, in 1880.
