All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************* Hon W. H. Graham W. H. Graham was born in Raleigh, Smith county, Miss. He removed to Williamson, Texas in 1851. He came from there to Henderson county in 1856. When the civil war broke out he enlisted in the service of the Confederate army. He was captured at the fall of Arkansas Post and held prisoner at Chicago several months. He was sent from there to Richmond, Va., and there exchanged and sent to the Army of Tennessee. He served through the rest of the war, being surrendered at Greensborough, N. C. He came home and engaged in farming. In 1896 he was elected to the 25th legislature and again in 1898 to the 36th. He served his constituents faithfully and was a good member of that body.
