OLD BREWER CEMETERY

Directions to:
Located a few miles north of Prairieville, Kaufman County, 
on land owned in 1954 by Mrs. John TRAIL of Kaufman, Texas.  
Copied in 1954 by Mrs. Leon BOATWRIGHT 
and Mrs. Afton FLOWERS of Mabank, Texas.

BREWER, W. T. 2-10-1798/7-22-1854 (see 1st census of Texas 1829-36) 
BREWER, Julia A. 2-20-1840/1-8-1858 
BREWER, Susie A. 1-4-1842/12-15-1850 
SCOTT, Allie J. ? 10-27-1862/11-1-1879 
SCOTT, B. M. (Fragment, name only remains) 

(NOTE: These were the only stones we were able to locate in this cemetery.  
None of the stones were standing; all were covered by a dense mass of briers and vines.  
I think, however, that we uncovered all stones remaining. meb)
