Corn and cotton will soon be gathered. Edward BEARDEN who is ill of typhoid fever is no better. The children of Wess MALONE are able to be up again. Mrs. SHOYET'S brother Mr. RASH of Bell county spent a few days last week with her. A. L. STIDHAM, wife and son went to Tyler Sunday. Will returned home Wednesday. T. J. FORD and family visited in Murchison Sunday evening. Miss Ellen STIDHAM spent a few hours at the home of Mrs. Mattie CHAMPION'S Saturday afternoon. Belle BROWN is very sick. Bob and Jack BOYKIN spent Sunday morning with their mother. T. L. ASHER of Murchison spent Saturday night with his parents. Lee GRIFFIN made a business trip to Black Jack Friday. Most every one from here will attend the show at Athens Saturday. Grace and Alice MURRAY spent Sunday with their aunt Mrs. Myrtle MURRAY. Henry KINSEY of Leagueville was in our community Sunday afternoon. Jerome THOMAS and wife spent Monday at W. E. JORDAN'S. Roy JONES attended preaching at Opelika Sunday afternoon. Hollie TURNER went to Athens Saturday. Miss Stella BARNES went to Murchison one day. T. B. DAVIS of Murchison is picking cotton for Chapel MURRY.
