G. Richmond, Mercedes, on their 30th wedding annivesary, when a group of friends, acting as hosts, entertained with a swimming party and a picnic supper at the Hoblitzelle Ranch swimming pool. Later in the evening the group gathered at the home of Dr. and Mrs. R. H. Clinton for square dancing. The honor guests were presented with a gift from their hosts. Others present for the event were Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Squires and children; Mr. and Mrs. George McGuire and Mrs. J. C. McGuire, Bay City, Michigan; Mr. and Mrs. Grover Todd and children, Weslaco; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gibson and children; Mrs. Frances Beale and son.
