The list on the Tombstone Project left out the Dodsons! Here is what I have to add: Inside an enclosure with a metal fence are the graves of Thomas S. Dodson and his wife, Martha E. Creasy. His stone reads: T.S. Dodson Born Jan. 1, 1826 Died Aug. 19, 1886 Her tombstone reads: COME YE BLESSED Martha E. Wife of Thomas S. Dodsen (sic) Born Feb. 13, 1831 Died Dec. 30, 1903 Our Mother, a precious one from us is gone. The voice we loved is stilled. A place is vacant in our hearts which never can be filled. A stone on the ground reads: Thomas Dodson Born Jan. 7, 1861 Died Oct. 24, 1882 Aged 21 yrs, 9ms, 17 ds. Blessed are the Pure in Spirit For they shall see God. Family oral history says he died in a drowning accident. Also within the enclosure are the graves of W.J. Dodson, his wife, Elizabeth English, and their infant son, unnamed. Outside the fenced enclosure is the monument to Catherine Josephine Wellborn, wife of George Milton Dodson. (He's buried in the Blum Cemetery with his second wife.) Catherine's monument reads: In memory of Catherine Josephine Wife of Geo. M. Dodson Born May 11, 1856 Died Feb. 13, 1890 We have parted dear, Thou hast gone before. May we meet again on a happier shore.
