J.S. Wood has received a copy of the Evening Scimitar published at Memphis, TN,
which contains complete roster of Forrest's brigade. This is the outcome of a
proposition to have a reunion of all the survivor's of the Forrest Brigade in
Memphis some time in the spring or as many of them as possible.  Mr. Wood was
2nd corporal of Company I. There are several members of Forrest's brigade here.
