Charles Wesley Howell:

Birth:  Dec. 21, 1852
Upson County
Georgia

Death:  Feb. 15, 1889
Hill County
Texas

Charles Wesley Howell was a son of John Noah Howell and Elizabeth "Eliza" 
Martin Howell. 

In 1884, he married Carrie Columbia Wade (1858-1897) who is buried in Mount 
Zion Cemetery at Smith, Lee County, Alabama. 

According to family tradition, Charles Wesley Howell was killed when he fell 
from a horse while chasing a rabid dog. 

They had two children: Charles Wade Howell (1887-1937) and Carrie Will Howell 
(1889-1977) who married a Mr. Smith.
