Audis Moore, 92, of Ropesville, passed away Wednesday, April 25, at his home.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday April 28, in the Franklin-Bartley Chapel
at 2 p.m. with Reverend Lonnie Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in the
City of Lubbock Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Franklin-Bartley
from 7-9 p.m. today.

Audis Eltin Moore was born in Deleon, Texas to Archie G. and Annie
(Stephenson) Moore. He attended schools in the Prairie View Community and
graduated from Ropesville High School in 1932. He married Geneva Forbus on
March 24, 1935 in Lubbock. He was a Farmer and used car dealer owning West
Texas Motors and Audis Moore Used Cars until his retirement in 1980. He was a
member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his wife Geneva of seventy-two years; two sons Raymond Moore
of Mesquite and David Moore of Ropesville; his brother Charles A. Moore of
Lubbock; his sister Sybel Harris of Ropesville; eight grandchildren; 15 great-
grandchildren.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents. His son Joe Bill Moore passed
away April 12, 2005.
