Tuck and Deborah Tuck Young Cemetery is located in the northeast section of the county. From the Sulphur Springs square, go north on Hwy 19 to Birthright, turn right on FM road 71 to Nelta. The cemetery is located on the east side of Nelta, on the left side of the road, in a pasture. Stop and ask. Can not be seen from the road. In very very bad condition. Many of the early settlers are buried in this cemetery. Bartlett, Sarah - b. 21 Jan. 1813, d. 1878, wife of J. N. Bartlett Hargrave, Robert - b. 13 Feb. 1845, d, 7 Mar, 1871, husband of Sarah L. Hargrave Hargrave, Margarette - b. 24 Aug. 1816, d. 6 June 1858, wife of Harvey Hargrave Hargrave, Lettie - b. 11 Feb. 1796, d. 26 Oct. 1880, age 84 yrs. 8 mos. 15 days, wife of W. M. Hargrave Hargrave, W. M. - b. 25 Nov. 1794, d. 14 Sept. 1872 E.C. - died 10 Jly. 1855. Initials carved on a flat wooden marker, located next to the Hargrave markers. Could this be the daughter of James Hargrave? Hargrave, Harriet - b. 17 Dec. 1828, d. 14 Oct. 1891 Hargrave. Alfred Jackson - b. 31 Oct. 1833, d. 9 Jly. 1909 (2nd Lieut. Co. L, 27 Reg., Texas Cav. C.S.A.) Hargrave, William Wallace - b. 1838, in Indiana, d. 26 Aug. 1843, son of William & Lettie Hargrave. Unmarked grave. (Eli Hargrave^Òs family history says its the first grave in McFall cemetery) Hargrave, Harvey - b. 13 Feb. 1816, in Warrick Co., Indiana, d. 18 Ap. 1881 Hargrave, Lewis Morgan - d. 17 Oct. 1842, son of Glen and & Nancy Hargrave, 1 year old. His name is being added in memory of him. As Glen and Nancy were on their way to Texas, their little son, Lewis Morgan, died. It is not known where he is buried. (From the records of Eli Hargrave) Jayne, Etha - b. 13 Aug. 1866, d. 25 Aug. 1908, wife of J. W. Jayne (Obituary - Mrs. Etha Jayne, wife of John Jayne, died at her home at Birthright. Also reported that she lived at Sand Hill and died August 25th. Burial in McFall Cemetery (S.S. Gazette, Aug. 28, 1908) Later reported - She was born in Illinois August 13, 1866, and married John Jayne August 22, 1906, she having resided in Illinois prior to this time. She was a member of the U. B. A Order, and burial services were conducted by same.
