Tuck Newspaper clipping not dated - edited ASKEW - WILLIAMS Maury Askew and Miss Rosia Williams were married in Black Jack Grove last Sunday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Alexander officiating. The nuptials were solemnized at the home of the Drummer, and after the marriage the contracting parties returned to Sulphur Springs and are now at home to their friends at the residence of Mr. John Buford, corner of College and Depot Street. Will Buford and Miss Minnie Williams, sister of the bride, and John Ferguson and Miss Allie Jones were attendants, and shortly after the marriage the merry party arrived in Sulphur Springs. We would wish for this young man and this young woman through life a pathway bestrewn with roses. Mr. Askew is one of the city’s most trusted sons, and he and his kins-people are loved and respected by all. Miss Williams is the pretty and cultured daughter of Dr. Williams.
