Tuck Newspaper clipping not dated. Edited CARTER-CLARK Last Sunday night, when everything from the sacred day to the starry heavens added solemnity to the hour, Neil Carter and Miss Cinnie Clark became husband and wife. The nuptials were performed at the Presbyterian church, Rev. Brooks officiating. That night the young couple left the home of the bride to attend church, their intentions of getting married a few hours subsequent being a profound secret to Rev. Clark and wife. There were some objections to the marriage on the part of the father of the bride because the contracting parties were quiet young, although thousands have taken the sacred step at a far more tender age. Neil Carter is a young man whose character is above reproach and a consistent member of the Methodist church. The bride is as modest and sweet as "was ever born of woman" and as pure and loverly as flowers that bloom in Elysian gardens. Accept the "Gazettes" congratulations thou happy couple.
