O. Pratt, in Commerce, Mr. Harry Flewharty and Miss Pauline Pratt were united in marriage in the presence of only a few invited guests and relatives of the two families. The bride is of one of the oldest and best families in Commerce. She is a graduate of the East Texas Teachers College and very popular with both teachers and students of that institution. The groom is one of the promising young men of Hopkins County and deservedly popular in Sulphur Springs, where he was born and grew to manhood. He has just been graduated from the East Texas College at Commerce and he and Mrs. Flewharty will go to Haskell where he holds a responsible position in the city schools for the coming year. Their hosts of friends here and elsewhere over Texas wish for Mr. & Mrs. Flewharty a long, happy and successful life.(Daily News-Telegram, Aug. 29, 1924)
