Tuck Johnathon Huckleberry - Funeral oration delivered by Rev. J. M. Brooks at the grave of Johnathon Huckleberry, who was interred at the Odd Fellow cemetery, Sulphur Springs, who died June 1894. For ten years he was an invalid. He was born in Clark County, Ind., Feb. 9, 1814. When quite young, his parents moved to Sangamon County, Ill., here he married and reared a family of five children, only one of them survives him. In early manhood he connected himself with the Methodist Church. He once lived in the same county with Abraham Lincoln, his recollecting of Douglas, Henry Clay, Lincoln, and such characters were vivid.
