ARMSTRONG, MARY ELUIRA - Mary Eluira Isbell was born Dec. 2, 1858. She married
J.M. Armstrong December 24, 1877. To this union were born eight daughters and
one son who died in infancy. The eight daughters survive, as well as her
faithful companion: Mrs. Nathan Clifton, Sulphur Springs; Mrs. Cin__ Brown,
Marshall, Mrs. Ethel McDowell, Shooks Chapel; Mrs. Annie Ray, San Angelo; Mrs.
Joe Campbell and Mrs. Henry Sartin, Sulphur Springs; Mrs. George Harris,
Dallas; and Mrs. George Miller, Hope, Arkansas. The remains were laid to rest
at Shooks Chapel. (Daily News-Telegram, Dec. 1930)
