All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** From the files of June Tuck BINION, S. E. - Died this morning, Wednesday, at the home of his son, Dr. W. T. Binion, 8 miles north of this place. He was a very old man, and had been confined to his bed for two years, but he had all the attention that could be rendered by his two sons. We have often wanted to say something grand about those two boys because of their affection for their father. Mr. Binion was early in his countries service. He was a lieutenant in a volunteer company in the Indian war of Florida in 1836, was a true Southern man in the late war and spent the last 20 years of his life around Black Jack Grove. (Cumby Rustler, July 1893) (His death was also mention in Vol. 1, Hopkins County Obituaries, but this one gave a little more information)
