CONNER, S. E., MRS. - Died at the home of her son, N. W. Conner, on Church
Street, after a long illness, December 29, 1914. She was 65 years old and was
among the early settlers of this county. Member of the Methodist Church. The
burial occurred at the Conner cemetery at Dike. She leaves five daughters and
one son. (Sulphur Springs Gazette, Jan. 1, 1915)
