CONNALLY, PERRY - Died at his home in Abilene, Thursday. His remains were
returned here on the Cotton Belt with funeral services held at the home of
Drue Connally on Gilmer street. Burial in the City Cemetery. Mr. Connally was
about 55 years of age. He was born and reared in Sulphur Springs and lived
here up until last January when he moved to Abilene. He leaves a wife, five
sons and four daughters. (Sulphur Springs Gazette, Oct. 1915)
