Hopkins Co., TX - Obit: Mrs. Rosa Crabb ***************************************************** This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb by: June E. Tuck USGenWeb Archives. Copyright. She was the daughter of G. D. & Emma Withers. She belonged to the Christian Church and a member of the Rebekah lodge. She was also a member of the Culture Club of this city and Standard Club of Winnsboro. Rosa Withers entered the business world and succeeded beyond what many stout men do. A Winnsboro young man wooed and won her, and last January C. B. Crabb and Rosa Withers were married. She was sick only a short time; on Sunday evening, a tiny little girl baby was born that never saw the light of day, and in a few hours, the spirit of Rosa Crabb took its flight to God. Her body was brought to this city for burial in the City cemetery. The business houses of the city closed for the funeral. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., Dec. 4, 1908)
