DENTON, K. T., MAYOR - Died January 15, 1914, without ever having rallied from
the stroke of apoplexy with which he was stricken on Tuesday previous. The
wife of Mayor Denton died some seven weeks ago, and his grief was sad. The
funeral services were held at the Baptist Church with Revs. Wallace Bassett
and J. B. Gober conducting impressive services. The remains were laid to rest
