Foster, died Tuesday morning, and the funeral took place at the residence on Gilmer Street. Dr. A .A. Duncan, assisted by Rev. W.F. Bryan, conducted the services. She was born at Old Washington in this state, and when quite young her parents moved to this city where she has lived ever since. She grew to young womanhood, married and reared her family here. She was a member of the Baptist church. She was buried in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., July 2, 1909) Matt Ashcroft Camp, U.C.V. Resolutions of Respect - Mrs. B. W. Foster, the wife of B.W. Foster, was born July 30, 1846, in Old Washington County, Texas. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Bailey Callicott, and came with them to this city in 1856. She was married to B.W. Foster in November 1871. Two children - Louis and Nona were born of this union, and still survive. Mrs. Foster was a true daughter of the Confederacy, and in 1861, she, with a number of other young ladies, presented Capt. W. R. Buford and his company with a flag when they left for active service.
