He retired as usual; later on groans emanating from his room attracted the family. They aroused him, but he expired soon after. Burial at Miller Grove cemetery under the auspices of the W.O.W. Lodge. Cumby Mercantile Co's undertaking department had charge of the burial (Cumby Rustler, Fri., Sept. 24, 1915)
