HARPER, IKE T., MR. - On last Sunday evening at 7 o'clock, Mr. Ike T. Harper,
of this city, quietly passed away. For something like a year he had been a
sufferer; first, he was stricken with paralysis and subsequently afflicted
with a cancer. He was a member of the Methodist church. The funeral service
was held at the family residence, burial in the City Cemetery under the
auspices of the I.O. O. F. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., Oct. 22, 1909)
